Although we are sorry that you wish for your account to be deleted, we're sorry to see you go and thank you for your interaction with Canopy.
To delete your account please follow the steps below:
Click on the top-right icon with your initials to find the settings and select "Account settings".
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click delete account.
Once you have reviewed the information and would still like to proceed with deleting your account, please let us know the reason for your leaving us by selecting one of the options. Click "Delete my account".
If you change your mind, you will also have the option to stop by clicking "Return the account settings".
- a DFI policy (active or expired)
- Rent Tracking has been activated at any time
- Acted as a guarantor
- Rent Passport has been shared with an Agent or Landlord at any time in the past
Unfortunately, if you have a completed right to rent check we are not able to delete your account as this information needs to be accessible to your agent.
Such reasons for the retention of your data include, but are not limited to:
to comply with a legal obligation;
for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority;
for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims; and
pursuant to the achievement of the purpose for which it was originally collected or processed
One final confirmation, for security and to ensure you are the account holder, we require you to enter your password the finalise the deletion request. Once you have entered your password, click "Delete my account". You, again, will have the option to stop by clicking "Keep my account".
Your account has now been deleted and we will contact our partners to notify them of your deletion request.
