If you are in receipt of payment from your family, please note this is not an income we can accept with the exception of child maintenance and spousal maintenance. We are only able to accept this income if this is awarded to you by the courts or by the Child Maintenance Service (CMS). Any private agreements will not be accepted.
In order for our referencing team to verify this, you will need to provide evidence of this income by uploading BOTH of the following documents:
Award letter:
This needs to be dated within the last 12 months (if you do not have a letter dated within 12 months, please contact the referencing team to check if we can accept the available documents).
What we are looking for:
- The letter must be addressed to you.
- The date the letter was issued must be visible.
- The details of the service appointing the award should be visible.
- This must confirm when you started receiving/will start receiving the payment.
- This must confirm the amount you are receiving and the payment frequency and duration.
- This should state where the payments are coming from.
Bank statements:
We require your 3 most recent fully itemised bank statements.
What we are looking for:
- Details of your bank.
- Must be in your name.
- Account number (this is to ensure all statements are from the same account).
- Date the bank statement was provided and the dates of the transactions.
- All incoming and outgoing payments.
