Below you will find a list of documents that we require to verify your savings. If you do not see your type of savings in this list please check here or contact the support team.
For most savings, we will require evidence of funds present in your account for a minimum of 3 months and may require additional proof of accessibility of funds.
If you have moved all your savings from one bank account to another and are unable to present evidence of funds in the current account for a minimum of 3 months, we will be able to verify this but will need to see evidence of both accounts to validate the transfer and amount.
Current account:
- Your 3 most recent fully itemised bank statements.
Please note if you receive your income in this account we will need to deduct this in order to verify the correct amount of savings available.
How we validate the document:
The following requirements must be presented on the statements in order for us to verify your income.
- Details of your bank.
- Your name.
- Account number (this is to ensure all statements are from the same account)
- Date the bank statement was provided and the dates of the transactions.
- All incoming and outgoing payments.
Cash ISA:
- Your 3 most recent fully itemised bank statements.
Please note if you receive your income in this account we will need to deduct this in order to verify the correct amount of savings available.
How we validate the document:
The following requirements must be presented on the statements in order for us to verify your income.
- Details of your bank.
- Your name.
- Account number (this is to ensure all statements are from the same account)
- Date the bank statement was provided and the dates of the transactions.
- All incoming and outgoing payments
Investment ISA:
- Your most recent investment statement. As this can be provided quarterly/yearly we also require the below.
- Proof of current balance to date.
How we validate the document:
The following requirements must be presented on the documentation in order for us to verify your income.
- Details of the institute.
- Your name.
- Account reference (this is purely to ensure all statements are from the same account)
- Date the statement was provided and date period.
- All incoming and outgoing payments.
Trust Fund (Beneficiary):
- Signed reference letter from your solicitor confirming the amount in the trust fund and when you are due to receive this/have received this.
- If you have received this payment we also require your 3 most recent fully itemised bank statements to confirm the funds have cleared.
Please note if you are not due to receive this within 8 weeks of referencing we will not be able to accept this.
How we validate the document:
The following requirements must be presented on the documentation in order for us to verify your income.
- Details of the solicitors including signature.
- Your name.
- Date of the letter and date you receive the money.
- The amount of money you receive.
Bank statement:
- Details of your bank.
- Your name.
- Account number (this is to ensure all statements are from the same account)
- Date the bank statement was provided and the dates of the transactions.
- All incoming and outgoing payments
Sale of property:
- Signed reference letter from your solicitor confirming the amount and date of the sale and that the funds have cleared alongside the corresponding bank statement.
Please note if you are not due to receive this within 8 weeks of referencing we will not be able to accept this.
How we validate the document:

- Date of the letter and date you received the money.
- The amount of money you received.
- Confirmation the funds have fully cleared.
Bank statement:
- Details of your bank.
- Your name.
- Account number (this is to ensure all statements are from the same account)
- Date the bank statement was provided and the dates of the transactions.
- All incoming and outgoing payments
