How to upload documents for review
When completing your RentPassport™ or RentTracking™, you may come across a prompt to upload documents. These will be used in verifying your income, verifying your rent or verifying your tenancy.
Please see below step-by-step instructions on how to upload your documents for review.
Step 1:
Below is an example of a page you will see when asked to upload documents.
Step 2:
Select 'Upload documents'. If you are using the Canopy website, this will take you to your files where you can select the relevant document. If you are using the app, you will be prompted to take a photo, upload a photo from your library or upload a file. Select the relevant option and then select the relevant document.
Step 3:
When you have selected your document you will see a progress bar for the upload. This will turn solid blue before you have the option to move on. You have the option to upload more than one document for each section. Once you have uploaded all the appropriate files, click 'Next' or 'Submit'.
You have now successfully uploaded your documents and these will be reviewed by our referencing team within 48 hours. You will receive an email from Canopy when this has been completed.
