How to Request a RentPassport™
As an agent using HQ, you will have the ability to request to view an applicant's RentPassport™. The referencing report provides live progress and status updates on an applicants journey
Follow the steps below in order to view an applicant's information. Please note the applicant needs to authorise your access to their data. Once they have shared their RentPassport™ you will be able to see this.
There are two different ways to request a users RentPassport™
Sign into your Canopy account
- Canopy HQ
- Once signed into HQ, on your main page you will see an overview of all team members, all branches, all RentPassport™s and all DepositFree™ Policies
- At the bottom of 'RentPassport™s' select 'Request Rent Passport'
- You will then see the following pop up box:
- Enter the applicant's email address
If you would like full screening for the applicant you will can select 'Full screening is required' please be aware that full screening is £3 plus VAT per applicant
- You will then need to select the branch you would like the RentPassport™ to be connected to
- Finally click 'Send request'
Please be aware: The applicant will need to accept the invitation to share their data with you.
