As an agent using HQ, you will have the ability to request to view an applicant's RentPassport™. The referencing report provides live progress and status updates on an applicants journey
Follow the steps below in order to view an applicant's information. Please note the applicant needs to authorise your access to their data. Once they have shared their RentPassport™ you will be able to see this.
Step 1: Sign into your Canopy HQ
Step 2: Once signed into HQ, on your main page you will see your dashboard, click on RentPassports™
Step 3: On the top right select 'Request Rent Passport' You will then see a pop up box.
Step 4: You now have 2 options:
- You can invite them by email by entering the applicant's personal details.
- First Name
- Last Name
- Phone number
- Email address
Now select what type of screening you would like for this applicant. The defualt is instant and prices may vary depending on your contract. The different option at the point pf request are:
- Instant screening (default)
- Full Screening (employer and landlord reference included)
- Guarantor needed
- Right to Rent
You also have the option to let us know the move in date for this applicant. This can be an exact date or within a date range.
- You can invite the renter by sending them a link. Simply click copy and you can send this via email or text.
Step 5: If you are connected to more than one branch wihtin your agenc, you will also see the option to select a branch on the pop up. Select the branch you would like the RentPassport™ to be connected to in order to keep all your applicants organised.
Step 7: Finally review the total charges and if you are happy with these, click 'Send request'
Please be aware: The applicant will need to accept the invitation to share their data with you.
